Meh, I give up…

June 22, 2009

“Running” two sites at once is too difficult. I could hire a crew to work here, but that’s not quite my style. I guess this is goodbye…

For like the fifth time.

Guess ROBLOX hired some new interns

June 14, 2009

Have you noticed that mse6 is an adminstrator now? She’s probably been hired as an intern, so that means there’s probably others. I’ll see if I can find any others.

If you don’t believe me, look at the picture.

Don’t I look pretty?

June 13, 2009

Untitled

I do, don’t I? Must be the hair.

As you’ve probably guessed by now, the update is hair. Sorta. It’s hats in the form of hair.

There’s not too big of a variety right now, only some mohawks, some pigtails, and a clown hairdo.

I personally only like the clown piece.

I’m thinkin’…

June 12, 2009

That I should get some tacos to eat. Don’t you like tacos? I know you do.

OK, anyways, I’m thinkin’ about getting some people to help me with this blog. Even with all the spare time I’ll have, I can’t do everything alone. Especially since I get the feeling of being lonely. I’ll possibly post a thread about it. Or, if you happen to be reading this and want to help out (with an all-time low of 9 visits per day, most being for hacks and stuff like that, I doubt anyone will…), leave a comment saying so.

I’m also thinking about a new header. I like the layout, but the header’s horrible (both my photo editing software and my skills are quite mediocre). If only someone with epic photo editing software (such as Photoshop) could do me a favor and make an awesome header for this site.

*hint hint*

I’m back… Again

June 11, 2009

It’s been over half a year since I promised I’d start postin’ again! Wow, the time flies. Well, I guess I lied. But now I’m really back. I’ll be posting here, AND on ronewspress.

I can assure you I WILL be posting because summer vacation’s here, and I have nothing but spare time.

In Recent News…

December 16, 2008

Sorry I haven’t been posting, my brother is being a big hog with the computer. But enough with my life, onto recent news in ROBLOX…

Presents—

It’s that time of year again! And jolly ol’ Telaclause has a new sack filled with gifts and goodies. Admittedly, it’s not as exciting as last year’s hectic give-away, but who can argue with ‘free’ gifts? I sure can’t.

There’s been six presents so far: The Crimson Gift of Good Citizenship, Chancy Gift of ROshambo, Lucrative Gift of Mercantilism,  Tragic Gift of Reparations, Neon Gift of Self-Actualization, and the Royal Gift of Kings.

The Crimson Gift of obtained by being a good boy; having no moderation acts within the last few months. The Royal Gift of Kings was gotten if you owned a Crown-ish hat (Crown, Warlords, Princess Hat, Tiara, Void Star, Domino Crown, Ice Crown, or Golden Egg of Kings). The Neon Gift of Self-Actualization was recieved if you commented on the hat itself before the deadline. The Lucrative Gift of Mercantilism was given to you if you had traded on the ROBlex, the trading engine that was recently made (I’ll talk more about this later). The Chancy Gift of ROshambo was obtained if you beat Telamon in a game of ROshambo (Paper was the winning ‘move’). And Finally, the Tragic Gift of Reparations was given if you have been bloxxed by Telamon.

—ROBlex—

It took over a year, but a trading system has finally been made! Dubbed the ‘ROBlex’ the system actually changes the price of Tickets and ROBUX as the economy changes. I should probably explain further…

See, the ROBlex … It’s like eBay, in a weird, messed up sorta way. You put up a trade you want to complete, such as 50 TIX. Now, the ROBlex keeps a close eye on the economy. So today, you could get 20 ROBUX for those TIX. Tomorow, you could get only 17. It depends on the economy (the ROBlex actually gives you an estimate of how many ROBUX you’re amount of TIX is worth). Moving on… The ROBlex will look around for trades of 50 TIX. Once it finds a match, you get your TIX. Or vice versa.

Understand? No? I wouldn’t either, but it’s as simple as I could put it.

—WPBC—

Oh heck, do I REALLY need to tell you about this? OK, I will. But later. I’ll edit this post when I don’t feel so darn lazy. So uh… keep your eyes peeled?

Back in Action

November 2, 2008

With 3,000+ hits in only two months, ROBLOX Network was a success. It pained me to let it go, so I won’t. I’m back, and ready to poast news and stuffz.

I’ve deleted posts since I was gone, and I’ve deleted Cassian and 7dast from the crew, leaving only me. Why? I gives me a sort of “clean slate” feel. I hope to recruit some workers soon, but for now, I’m flying solo.

A look through the eye glass of a noob

August 21, 2008

I’ve taken a look at ROBLOX through the eye glass of a noob, and man, was it weird. When I went to someone’s profile, this is what I saw:

On the games page:

And on the forums:

It appears some people “listen” to me.

August 21, 2008

Just checked the blogstats. NOW we have some searches for “ROBLOX exploits”. I suppose I should be “happy”…

Viewer Submitted Place Review

August 18, 2008

I had logged in a couple days ago (to talk to someone) and I found a lonely message sitting in my inbox. It was a place review someone had written and wanted it to be poasted here. That person also wanted to be anonymous, so I’ve respected his/her request. Unfortunately, I was left without a name to the place, and the pictures won’t show up. The spaces are also going weird, but I think someone would be a bit sad if I didn’t post this, even if it did have a “couple” problems. Either way, it’s a good review. Reads it nao or be eaten by meh giant goldfishy!

Though I’m an honest fan of obstacle courses, this one just doesn’t cut it. It’s [sometimes] laggy, and it’s also short with only 4 obstacles to conquer. Either way, I’m here to walk you through this whole place (and review it when I’m done).
The Beginning (Obstacle 1): Ah, a classic, lava jumping. It’s also short with only three jumps. Do I really need to tell you how to do this?
UP THE STAIRCASE OF DOOM (Obstacle 2): Do I have to tell you how to climb up stairs?? No, I didn’t think so…
Dodge the Lava Monster (Obstacle 3): This is, like the others, really easy. Climb up the “ladder” and walk on the edges of the “cage”, then jump down on the teleporter when you’re over it.
Almost there! (Obstacle 4): This one’s just plain tedious. Climb the “giant” ladder under all the lag, and take the teleporter to the “winners room”.
Winners “Room”: Congratz, you’ve made it through this easy “obby”. You may now randomly use god armor for no reason, get useless pets, and bomb innocent players trying to finish the course.

Review
———————————————-

Building 1/10; It’s all from free models, the creator did very minimal work on this.

Entertainment 3/10; It’s a dull, short course with nothing we haven’t seen before or anything challenging, not to mention lack of usefull things at the winners’ “room”.

Lag X/10; It’s extremely laggy sometimes, but at other times it’s lagless.

Originality 2/10; Obstacle courses aren’t original, let alone the obstacles the creator put in this one. “Escape the [Insert something here]” courses aren’t new either, but the volcano is.

Scripting 1/10; Nothing amazing, just plain old givers, planes, and lava scripts.

Overall Rating 3/10; It’s short, boring, and [sometimes] laggy. At least it’s got good music…
